Room to learn. Room to create. Room to lead.
At Ranting&Rafing, our mission is to create thoughtful 3D-printed products while building opportunities for people with Down syndrome and other disabilities to develop skills, contribute, and take pride in their work.
That mission starts with our son, Rafe.
We started this family business to help provide for his specialized care, therapy, and education. As we grow, our hope is to build something that reaches beyond our own family: a welcoming community where creativity is encouraged, abilities are recognized, and people have the support they need to succeed.
Our long-term goal is to offer meaningful, paid opportunities in designing, printing, finishing, packaging, and helping customers. We envision people with disabilities helping shape and operate the business, with opportunities to take on responsibility and leadership.
For Rafe, we want to build an opportunity he can choose as he grows. For others, we hope to open doors to work, independence, friendships, and the satisfaction of making something people value.
We’re a for-profit business with a personal purpose. Our profits help support Rafe’s needs, and building a dependable business is our foundation for creating future opportunities.
We’re at the beginning of this journey. These employment opportunities are a goal we’re working toward, and every order helps us take another step.
Thoughtful creations today. More possibilities for tomorrow.
